Code To Connect

Inspiring creativity and innovation through technology-enabled learning.

Code to Connect is an innovative digital learning initiative by Edignite Foundation that aims to bridge the digital divide among students from government and underserved schools. While many schools in urban and semi-urban areas have computer labs, the lack of trained instructors and a
structured curriculum often limits their effective utilization. The program addresses this gap by delivering a carefully designed curriculum focused on Scratchbased coding, Artificial Intelligence (AI) awareness, and Computational thinking through trained Program Associates. Students participate in engaging, hands-on learning experiences that develop creativity, logical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and digital confidence. The initiative is aligned with the goal of empowering students with foundational coding, computational thinking, and AI awareness through experiential learning. The program has generated significant interest in computer learning among students, increased digital awareness, and encouraged regular school attendance. Students have also demonstrated
their learning and innovation by participating in Hackathons and showcasing their coding projects. During the academic year 2025–26, the program directly benefited 364 students. In 2026–27, the initiative is being implemented for 343 students. Beyond coding education, Code to Connect seeks to create a broader impact by connecting students, parents, and communities through meaningful technology-enabled initiatives. The longterm vision is to leverage digital learning as a catalyst for community engagement, innovation, and inclusive development, ensuring that technology becomes a tool for empowerment and social transformation.
