The National Education Policy 2020 aims to transform India's education system by rooting it in Indian values to make the country an equitable and vibrant knowledge society, ultimately positioning India as a global knowledge superpower. Despite notable achievements, the education system faces significant challenges, including severe inequalities and a focus on rote learning over practical understanding. Many primary students lack basic literacy and numeracy skills. Our goal is to enhance public education quality through capacity building, data-driven governance, and evidence-based research and advocacy.
Women bear the brunt of educational challenges yet possess crucial insights and leadership to address them. Gender discrimination hinders progress, making gender equality and women’s empowerment vital to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG-5). Our primary focus lies in empowering women through comprehensive leadership training, entrepreneurship initiatives, and opportunities for sustainable livelihoods. Additionally, we place greater emphasis on evidence-based research and advocacy endeavours in the realms of women's development.
We recognize that inaccurate, outdated data due to underinvestment in measurement infrastructure affects governance and public spending quality. We aim to provide timely, actionable feedback to empower decision-makers with reliable insights for effective policy and program adjustments. Our core focus is establishing systems for accurate, timely data generation, optimising human resource management, budget expenditure, and policy refinement. We advocate for rapid adjustments based on comprehensive data analysis and research, ensuring agility and effectiveness in decision-making.
