Education : Equity & Quality

National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP) envisions a massive transformation in education through– “an education system rooted in Indian ethos that contributes directly to transforming India, that is Bharat, sustainably into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society, by providing high quality education to all, thereby making India a global knowledge superpower.”
In India, the education system confronts considerable hurdles, foremost among them being glaring inequalities. While certain students achieve global recognition for their prowess, a significant portion of primary school students lack fundamental literacy and numeracy skills, falling behind even by third-grade standards. Furthermore, the prevalent emphasis on exams and grades perpetuates a culture of rote learning, prioritizing exam success over fostering genuine comprehension applicable to practical situations.
Our primary objective is to elevate the quality of the public education system through capacity building, data-driven governance, and evidence-based research and advocacy efforts.
