Salil Pol
Salil Pol is from Thane and has his academic roots in Pune. From an early age, he has been deeply passionate about problem-solving and fostering meaningful connections. This dual fascination led him to pursue a degree in Computer Science Engineering, where he honed his analytical skills, followed by a role in business development, where he cultivated the art of building strong networks. Yet, he felt a compelling need to bridge these two worlds, where problem-solving intersects with human-centric impact. This realisation
brought him to the Teach For India Fellowship, an experience that immersed him in addressing systemic challenges through direct community engagement. What drives him is the power of scale—the ability to bring together markets, communities, and governments to create sustainable ecosystems of welfare. His core passion lies in strengthening local governance and ensuring effective policy implementation, as he believes these are the keystones to equitable and transformative change.
